“One of my detectives thoroughly researched this product and overwhelmingly reported that this is the best product available on the market”
“It’s a super light shield. We really like how easily it fits and deploys out of our patrol cars. It’s been working great for us.”
“There’s a huge need for a rifle-rated shield in the work we do. The edge protection is a huge benefit, it’s very lightweight, and it even floats. If it gets wet, it doesn’t lose its ballistic protection.”
“The greatest point about this shield is the amount of protective space we have. The dimensions provide a greater amount of coverage at the same weight. I’m not sacrificing weight for coverage, where some of the other shields we’ve used weigh the same amount and don’t provide as much. If I’m a SWAT team commander, I’m looking for another piece of equipment to provide another level of protection for my SWAT officers, as well as the patrol officers we work with every day.”

Traditional shields are built to pass a test. GC Patrol Shield was built to perform in the field, then tested to prove it.
ASTM E3347 conditions shields through extreme temperatures and water immersion before a single round is fired. It requires three rounds within a 4-inch circle, not five shots spaced across the panel. Testing the complete shield, including attachment hardware and structural components, not just the central strike face.
GC Patrol Shield was the first rifle shield to pass. Few shields have passed at rifle level. None have matched GC Patrol Shield’s shotgun verification.
At 20 lb, it weighs half what conventional rifle-rated shields weigh. That combination of verified performance and reduced weight is what most traditional designs have not been able to deliver.
